I'm fascinated by wildflower seeds, and I'm always on the lookout for any I can collect as the seed heads ripen towards the end of summer. Naturally, I was thrilled to discover these beautifully tactile, wavy spacers which look almost exactly like the fascinating seeds of the hollyhock flower! Made in gold vermeil (gold bonded over silver), they're threaded onto simple rolled gold (gold bonded over brass) hoops, making the perfect summer earrings.

I was born in the Year of the Dragon according to the Chinese zodiac, and I love creating beautiful jewellery using seaglass, most of which we find along the beautiful beaches of the North Norfolk coast here in England. Some of it comes from much further afield, thanks to friends who send me 'mermaid mail' from as far away as Japan, Tasmania and the United States.
