A very unusually-shaped and faceted cabochon in black onyx, it has a high shine and a dome which rises to a peak. This lovely little cabochon is set in fine .999 silver on a textured sterling silver .925 ring band.
 
Black onyx is believed to stimulate the Root chakra, the source of physical and spiritual energy that flows through the body. Considered a powerful protection stone, black onyx absorbs and transforms negative energy. It is said to support the development of emotional and physical strength and stamina, especially when support is needed during times of stress, confusion or grief.
